The game includes a ton of exciting features, including over 20 Pokémon with unique abilities, trainer outfits, battle items and much more. Pokémon Unite has successfully gone through the testing phase, and the release window has been announced officially for both the Nintendo and mobile devices. Here are the complete details about it.

Pokémon Unite will release for Nintendo Switch in July 2021 and later this year on the mobile platform in September; however, an exact release date is yet to be announced. The game is developed under the partnership of Tencent’s TiMi Studios and The Pokémon Company, and the release window was revealed via Pokémon Unite’s cinematic trailer:

Aeos Island is the map in Pokémon Unite where the Pokémon from both the teams will battle against each other. The map is divided into two halves, and trainers will grow their Pokémon more powerful to dominate the opponents.

Trainers can give their Pokémon up to three items to hold that will complement their abilities to help them perform better in the game. There are over 15 items available in Pokémon Unite, including Float Stone, Leftovers, Muscle Band and more.

During the battle, wild and opposing Pokémon will drop Aeos energy that players can collect and then deposit it into one of their opponents’ goal zones to score points. After the match time is over, the team with the higher number of points is the winner.

Cross-platform and Cross-progression
Pokémon Unite will support both cross-platform and cross-progression across all the devices. It means that players will not only be able to play with players from other platforms but their progress will also be synced across Nintendo Switch, Android and iOS devices.
