Rocket League Season 3 Rewards: What are they, how to claim them and more

Here’s everything you need to know about the Season 3 rewards, what they will look like, how to make them a part of your inventory!

After much deliberation, Psyonix has finally decided on the next Season Rewards to motivate and honour their player base’s troubles -- and the players are not happy.

For the second time in three seasons, the rewards will be hitting our inventories in the shape of rank-themed decals which did not sit well with rocketeers that have been grinding for months on end.

Revealing themselves to be an almost exact replica of the Season 1 Rewards, these decals still caught the eye of free-to-play players who weren’t in on the car soccer phenomenon until a couple of months ago.

So for those of you who still want to catch’em all; from how to get them to what exactly you will get, here’s everything you need to know about the Rocket League Season 3 Rewards.

What are Rocket League Season Rewards?

Rocket League Season Rewards are items awarded to players at the end of each competitive season depending on their ranked progression. The items will vary each season going from decals, wheels to this season’s edition: boosts.

Each player will receive the highest rank reward level unlocked. Each rank reward level is unlocked by winning 10 games in said rank, this will secure that rank’s reward item and all items from ranks below.

A progress bar will show your progress in Wins and your highest Reward Level unlocked so far.

Season Rewards are untradeable amongst players and are treated as badges and time stamps of progress as they correlate directly to a player’s skill level during a specific season.

How to unlock Rocket League Season Rewards

Rocket League Season Rewards have a 10-win system. Winning 10 games in any rank or higher will earn the rewards for that rank you just won 10 games in and all ranks below.

This chart provided by Psyonix Support explains how to unlock each Reward Level:

Season Reward Level

Number of Wins

Bronze

10 wins at Bronze Rank or higher

Silver

10 additional wins at Silver Rank or higher

Gold

10 additional wins at Gold Rank or higher

Platinum

10 additional wins at Platinum Rank or higher

Diamond

10 additional wins at Diamond Rank or higher

Champion

10 additional wins at Champion Rank or higher

Grand Champion

10 additional wins at Grand Champion Rank

Supersonic Legend

10 additional wins at Supersonic Legend Rank

This, in turn, means that making it to a certain rank only to fall back the next game will not be enough to unlock that level of rewards.

Unlocking reward levels by winning 10 games secures consistency, grind and competitiveness.

Rocket League Season 3 Rewards

For this third instalment in the free-to-play era, Psyonix has gone with decals for the second time in less than a year, which has been received with mix and intense reviews.

Besides the items, Grand Champions and Supersonic Legends get an additional reward in the form of a player title, a line of text that displays under the username in the main menu banner, scoreboard screen and goal replay banner.

Just like last season, the Grand Champion titles will be painted Crimson while Supersonic Legend ones will be painted Titanium White.

All player title rewards will have Season 3 abbreviated as S3 as to not confuse them with the Legacy Season 3 of Rocket League.

  • Competitive Grand Champion: "S3 GRAND CHAMPION" in Crimson text
  • Rumble Grand Champion: "S3 RNG CHAMP" in Crimson text
  • Hoops Grand Champion: "S3 DUNK MASTER" in Crimson text
  • Snow Day Grand Champion: "S3 BLIZZARD WIZARD" in Crimson text
  • Dropshot Grand Champion: "S3 FLOOR DESTROYER" in Crimson text

How to claim Rocket League Season 3 Rewards

Rocket League Season Rewards do not need to be claimed or redeemed. Once the competitive season is over, all respective items and titles will automatically drop to your inventory without any action needed from the users.

If there were to be any issues with your reward level or item drops, make sure to contact Psyonix Support with evidence of the situation.

Make sure to grind it out one more time on the final stretch of Season 3 on 11th August and remember to have fun! Good luck!
