All Confirmed Playable Characters For Street Fighter 6

Players who are ready for the next fight will be looking to battle against each other in Capcom’s upcoming fighting game release, Street Fighter 6. Marking the sixth game in the main franchise, excluding the multiple editions of previous installments, the developer has revealed plenty of features and support mechanics with the official release of 2nd June 2023.

As the game is still slated for release in June 2023, those who have missed past announcements and the recent showcase can learn which characters are joining the roster for this latest entry. We’ve detailed all playable and DLC characters coming to Street Fighter 6.

Street Fighter 6 All Playable Characters

Since its official announcement in February 2022, the Fighting Game Community (FGC) has been anticipating which returning favorites and new arrivals will be added to the roster for Capcom’s upcoming fighting game. Over the months, the developer has introduced all playable characters, including four who will be added to the game post-launch in DLCs throughout the game’s first year.

With that being said, let’s look at all the playable base characters that will be available in Street Fighter 6 at launch in June 2023:

  • Blanka
  • Cammy
  • Chun-Li
  • Dee Jay
  • Dhalsim
  • E. Honda
  • Guile
  • Jamie
  •  JP
  • Juri
  • Ken
  • Kimberly
  • Lily
  • Luke
  • Manon
  • Marisa
  • Ryu
  • Zangief

Capcom also announced four characters to be added to Street Fighter 6 post-launch, with dates to be confirmed later. This was revealed during the recent Street Fighter 6 Showcase in April 2023, which marks three returning characters and the debut of one character, which all were leaked before the showcase event.

Below we’ve listed the characters arriving to Street Fighter 6 in forthcoming DLCs as part of the game’s Year 1 Character Pass:

  • Rashid: Summer 2023
  • A.K.I.: Autumn 2023
  • Ed: Winter 2024
  • Akuma: Spring 2024

Lastly, Capcom announced the final Open Beta for Street Fighter 6 will take place on 19th May 2023 at 12 am PDT / 7 am UTC which concludes on 21st May 2023 at 12 am PDT / 22nd May 2023 at 7 am UTC. This Open Beta will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, which the characters available for the Open Beta are Chun-Li, Guile, Jamie, Juri, Kimberley, Ken, Luke, and Ryu.
