Ebrain Studio's new platformer Loopmancer releases in July 2022 and takes players deep in the cyberpunk universe from the year 2046. This 3D roguelike action game follows the story of Xiang Zixu, a detective who returns to life after being killed while investigating the disappearance of a famous female journalist.

However, upon waking, Xiang finds himself in his apartment bedroom; the day has restarted but his memories from the day he was killed remain intact. This guide details everything you need to know, including Loopmancer's release date, platforms, gameplay, features, and PC system specifications.

Loopmancer - Release Date And Platforms

Loopmancer is slated for release on 13th July 2022 on Steam and the Epic Games Store. The game will launch across the following platforms: Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows PC. The free demo of Loopmancer is currently available for free on Steam.

Loopmancer - Gameplay And Features

The storyline follows the brilliant private eye, Xiang Zixu, who reawakens from his death after being killed investigating the disappearance of a prominent journalist. Waking up in his apartment bedroom in Dragon City, he realizes that the day of his death has restarted, but his memories remain the same.

Based on Unreal Engine 4, Loopmancer has notes of looping movies like Groundhog Day and Happy Death Day; the twist is Xiang reliving the day to uncover the truth about his killer and the missing person's case in a dystopian world of cyber tech.

Players will make various decisions throughout the game, altering the fates of in-game characters and rewriting Xiang's ending. Also,  each time Xiang dies, he will awaken in his apartment and begin a new loop. Certain areas will change at random after each life loop.

Unlock new weapons and abilities through endless reincarnations to solidify and enhance your fighting skills. Unlock over 100 weapons, cast skills with prosthetic limb chips, and use tech items to defeat the enemy.

Over 30 Enemies

Face over 30 enemies with unique behavior patterns: vicious gangsters, well-equipped mercs, crazy mutants whose neuro-comp interfaces have been hacked, highly trained bionics, etc. The list goes on, and none of them will be easy to take down.
