Shredders is a new sports game from independent developer FoamPunch and is described as "a love letter to snowboarding." Drawing inspiration from professional snowboarders and snowboarding movies, Shredders immerses players in a vast open world, rich with diverse terrains and beautiful, hand-crafted scenery, made for riders by riders.

Shredders - Release Date

Shredders was released on 17th March 2022 and is available exclusively on Xbox Series X|S and Microsoft Windows gameplay platforms. The game is also included with the Xbox Game Pass, starting at $9.99 per month. Otherwise, players can purchase the game via Steam or the Microsoft Store for $29.99.

Notably, Shredders is optimised for play on Xbox next-gen consoles. The game will utilise the Series X|S' unique capabilities, including fast load times, exceptional 4K UHD, and HDR visuals and framerates up to 120 FPS.

Shredders - Gameplay and Features

Shredders is a unique game inspired by snowboarding movies and "amped up" games from the original Xbox. Better still, the game was designed by riders for riders, making it a project "fed by passion."

What is Shredders about?

The game centres around you and your friend Scotty making "goofball snowboarding videos" at the Frozen Wood resort. You are then approached by a brand ambassador named Lisa, who makes an offer for some sponsored clips.

Lisa then gives you a glimpse into a whole new snowboarding world, introducing you to pro riders, snowmobiles and showing you all the epic spots to hit. You will also have a chance to meet some of the pros, learn moves, and compete against them in an invitational.

What are the Shredders' features?

The game boasts a massive open world that is hand-sculptured from top to bottom. Players can enjoy the game's exceptional scenery, ranging from parks and urban environments to beautiful mountaintops. "This open world is waiting to be shredded."
