There is no shortage of resources in Xenoblade Chronicles 3's humungous 100+ hours campaign. Similar to most RPGs, some of these resources are extremely useful, whereas others are not so much. 

One of the most important resources and currencies in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is Nopon Coins, and once you realize how useful they are, you will be on the lookout for them more often than not. This guide explains how to use Nopon Coins in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and where you can find them. 

How to get Nopon Coins in Xenoblade Chronicles 3

Nopon Coins in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is basically your jack of all trades. You can use it to level up your character class, craft gems, prepare food, or exchange them at Nopon Coin X-change for valuable resources. 

In Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Nopon Coins come in two variants: Gold and Silver; and there are a few ways to acquire them. The simplest and most obvious way to get them is by simply exploring the many regions of Aionios.

In your journey, you will come across yellow containers scattered around the map that may contain Nopon Coins.

Monster Skirmishes are a common sight when exploring the open world, and you will notice them by the sword-clashing symbol. One of the two fighting parties will reward you with Nopon Coins, so make your decision accordingly.

Fighting and defeating powerful monsters is another source of Nopon Coins. These are the bosses that leave behind Named Graves and have two names, so you won't have trouble recognizing them. Several side missions may also reward you with Nopon Coins, so make sure you don't miss out on those.
