We have been able to learn a lot about the weapons available since the official release of Battlefield 2042, testing a wide range of assault rifles, SMGs, Snipers and even marksman rifles.

The latter is often not our first choice when it comes to FPS as we prefer the higher fire rate of an SMG or an assault rifle or the accuracy and the firepower that a sniper has.

Nonetheless, the DM7 offers some qualities of the snipers that are really intriguing when equipped with the right attachments and we use that to build the best loadout for you.

The DM7 improves a lot from its base when equipped with the right attachments in Battlefield 2042

On its base form, the DM7 is quite behind the best sniper in the game in our opinion which is the SWS-10 but that´s why we were able to test some combinations and got the following loadout:

  • Muzzle: Tactical Compensator
  • Scope: TV 2x
  • Ammunition: High-Power
  • Mount: Cobra Grip

After all this, the DM7 is very close to the SWS-10 in terms of firepower and accuracy, it falls a little behind in range but it surpasses it in terms of handling makes it a great option if you are more accurate with your aiming while flanking.

As it has been a recurrent accessory the Cobra Grip will make a great complement to the Tactical Compensator as it will help tremendously with aiming and recoil to keep our opponents of sight if we miss the first shot.

It actually also increases the firepower which with the right hit could down opponents in a single shot without the downside of the sniper glint of the SWS-10, which is an advantage by itself.

If you feel overwhelmed with the plenty of guns you have available we could also recommend you to check out our weapon tier list to give you an idea of which ones to try first.
