How To Complete Breaking Bones Quest In Disney Dreamlight Valley

Scar is the latest villain to join the roster of playable characters in Disney Dreamlight Valley. In his Breaking Bones questline, Scar needs your help to remove all the small wildebeest bones littered around the Sunlit Plateau. To complete this quest, you will be required to upgrade your shovel to a Lion’s Claw Shovel Head. This guide will detail how to craft it so that you can complete the Breaking Bones quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Breaking Bones Quest Guide

The Scar’s Kingdom update in Disney Dreamlight Valley features several new questlines for Scar, including Nature and Nurture, Friends Aren't Food, Breaking Bones, The Circle of Life, and The Making of a Monarch. You will need to complete each of them in chronological order.

The Breaking Bones quest is the third of Scar's questlines in Disney Dreamlight Valley. In the quest, a slew of wildebeest bones is strewn across the Sunlit Plateau. To remove this debris, you must interact with Scar.

After speaking with Scar, you will need to seek out Scrooge McDuck in the hopes of creating a Mold to improve your Royal Shovel. After you have interacted with Scrooge and acquired the Mold, return to Scar, and he will instruct you to gather several other necessary materials. In particular, you will need to find: 5x Lion’s Claws, 5x Dry Wood, and 5x Iron Ingots.

You'll be happy to know that Lion’s Claws can be found buried near the cliffs on the Sunlit Plateau. They are also relatively easy to spot; look for a cracked mound near the cliffs with tiny glow orbs highlighting them. You can find three Lions’ Claws in the Elephant Graveyard and two near the cliffside of the Vitalys Mines.

Next, you will need to find Drywood. This material is found in three areas in Disney Dreamlight Valley: Forgotten Lands, Frosted Heights, and the Sunlit Plateau. Finally, to make Iron Ingots, you will need to gather 5x Iron Ore and 1x Coal Ore, which can be found in the Forest of Valor and Glade of Trust. You can craft the Iron Ingots at your Crafting Station when you have these items.

Once you have all the necessary materials, you can craft the Lion’s Claw Shovel Head at your Crafting Station and use it to clear the smallest wildebeest bones littered across the Sunlit Plateau. Fortunately, you won't have to break your back doing this as you only need to remove 5x small wildebeest bones to complete the Breaking Bones quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Now that you've completed this part of Scar's questline, you can move on to complete The Circle of Life quest, where he will require your assistance to remove the much larger bones near the bridge in the Sunlit Plateau.
