If you are playing Elden Ring or planning to jump into it, you will be spending over 40 hours in the game and will discover a lot about the NPCs along with its world. However, if you are wondering where the Elden Ring is taking place, here's the answer to your question.
Where does Elden Ring taking place?
Elden Ring takes place in the Lands Between after the Elden Ring gets destroyed and its shards called Great Runes are now ruled over by demigod offsprings of Queen Marika the Eternal.
However, all of the rulers i.e. Godrick the Grafted, General Radahn, Praetor Rykard, Morgott the Grace-Given, and Rennala are now at war against each other to capture the other runes of Elden Ring.
The Tarnished is an exile who is called back to the Lands Between to repair the Elden Ring and become the next Elden Lord. You will have to beat various bosses along with all the demigods to recover all the shards and finally go to the Erdtree.
