Fall Guys competition to offer crowns to those who can't get a win

Struggling to get wins for those premium Fall Guys costumes? The game’s official Twitter account has you covered with its latest competition.

If you’re looking to get your hands on some of Fall Guys’ best skins but you’re struggling to net yourself some crowns, this new competition may be for you.

In an unprecedented move by the game’s official social media account, fans of the wacky battle royale game can now earn 5 crowns, or a Steam key for the Fast Food DLC costumes, by taking part in a quick online contest.

According to the post, which recently went live on the Fall Guys Twitter, 10 lucky winners will have 5 crowns gifted to their account, meaning there’s a grand total of 50 keys up for grabs in total.

Taking part is very simple; to be in with a chance to win, fans must retweet the post and follow Fall Guys on Twitter. After that, they only need reply with the phrase: “Fall Guys Season 2 is…” and then see how your phone’s predictive text thinks the sentence should end.

The competition is a genius move by the Fall Guys team as it yet again has the game trending on Twitter. As we quickly approach the release of Fall Guys Season 2, this extra hype is sure to get the fans eager to revisit everyone’s favourite new battle royale.

It’s also a nice way to earn crowns or get your hands on the exclusive Fast Food costumes that can only be purchased on Steam. 5 crowns is a prize that’s hard to turn your nose up at, seeing as it’s the standard cost for a piece of the game’s crossover costumes, and it’s likely more crowns than many users have even gotten their hands on yet.

We’d wager that Senior Community Manager, Oliver Age 24, who likely set up this competition, may even enter under a fake name. By our count, he’s at about 3 crowns so far, and he probably wants to save up for a premium skin himself.

Fall Guys season 2 is expected to arrive on the 6th October and will bring brand new rounds, medieval-themed outfits and probably a whole lot of surprises.
