FIFA 22 Giorgio Chiellini FUT Captains SBC - Cheapest solutions, rewards, stats

EA Sports continue to add unique items to FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, with FUT Captains making their debut this April. Highlighting leaders on the pitch that currently wear the captain's bracelet for club or country, FUT Captains cards offer massive stat boosts. Players can start earning FUT Captains items through exclusive Squad Building Challenges, with Juventus captain Giorgio Chiellini up for grabs.

At 37-years of age, Chiellini still maintains himself as an important piece in Juventus' back four. Originally signed in 2004, Chiellini started playing for the Old Lady a year later, a season prior to the Calciopoli scandal that saw Juventus relegated to Serie B.

Institution icons such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Fabio Cannavaro, Lilian Thuram, or Patrick Vieira would bail to avoid wasting a year competing in the Italian second division, with a then 22-year-old Chiellini taking that opportunity to cement himself as a pillar of the club for years to come.

Amassing a plethora of domestic titles, including a record-breaking nine straight Serie A Scudettos between 2011 and 2020, five Coppa Italia trophies, and two Champions League final appearances, the resilient centre-back became club and national team captain in 2018 following the departure of legendary goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon to Paris Saint-Germain and his retirement from the Italian squad. Buffon would return to Juventus a year later, but in a less prominent role, with Chiellini keeping the captain's armband.

To obtain the Chiellini FUT Captains card, players will need to exchange two unique squads. Depending on your platform, the total cost can range from 237,000 to 241,000 FUT coins.

The Chiellini FUT Captains card stats has some amazing peaks, with decent Acceleration and Sprint Speed, reaching the high 80s in both, but more importantly, near-perfect defensive stats.
