Despite the limited Driver customizations, new Race Suits will be added to Forza Motorsport in Update 3.0, so here's how to unlock them.

Driver customization is among the few things players can do in Forza Motorsport before starting their automotive journey in-game. However, the game is quite limited in the variety of options currently available to create a more intuitive experience for players, which is in stark contrast to the car leveling and customization present.

The ability to customize their in-game Driver is still possible but is limited to their Body Type and Race Suits as developer Turn 10 Studios has made an abundance of Race Suits available to choose from. With Update 3.0 adding more styles, we’ve explained how players can unlock these new race Suits in Forza Motorsport.

How To Unlock The New Driver Race Suits In Forza Motorsport?

To achieve this, players must level their Driver Level to reach key milestones by participating in races to earn Car Experience (CXP) and Credits. Players have found ways to maximize the CXP earned as certain race tracks like the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps and racing in Free Play or Rivals that can help them gain Driver Levels more efficiently.

Likewise, the developer noted that every 10th Driver Level (i.e., 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, and 100) players can unlock various Race Suits before equipping them to their Driver. For those who have already reached these Driver Levels, these Race Suits will “retroactively” be available after updating the game, for which they will need to restart the game for the update to be active.

Currently, around 51 Race Suits styles are available in 11 different themes, with more to be arriving in the forthcoming game update. The developer confirmed in the Update 3.0 blog post that players can unlock 33 new Race Suits by leveling up and reaching various Driver Milestones in-game.

Below, we’ve listed all the Race Suit styles and variants currently available in Forza Motorsport:

  • Cutting Edge: Black, Blue, Gray, Red and Yellow

Forza Motorsport is available from 10th October 2023 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Game Pass, Cloud Gaming, Windows PC, and Steam. The next game update, Update 3.0, will be released for the abovementioned platforms sometime in December 2023.
