Genshin Impact Ningguang Hangout Event guide: Rewards, achievements and all endings

Genshin Impact brought back the spectacular Latern Rite Festival in its 2.4 update, which we welcomed the return of Liyue's Jade Chamber. Naturally, this also saw the return of the floating structure's owner, the Geo character Ningguang.

As such, to play Ninnguang's Hangout Event, there are a few prerequisites before spending the day with her. This Hangout Event guide details what you need to know about the event, the rewards, achievements, and possible endings to unlock.

How to unlock "The Jade Chamber's Returning Guest" Hangout Event?

Much like Yun Jin's "A Song That Knows Grace" Hangout Event, Travelers must have reached Adventure 28 and higher to be eligible for this event. And quite similarly, two Story Keys is required to unlock the Hangout Event.

By completing Daily Commissions, you can earn two Story Key by completing 16 Daily Commissions, eight over four days. Additionally, the Archon Quest Interlude Chapter: Act I "The Crane Returns on the Wind" must be completed before starting the Hangout Event.

What are the rewards for "The Jade Chamber's Returning Guest" Hangout Event?

As with all Hangout Events, rewards are unlocked based on how many endings you complete. Replay the Hangout Events as many times possible to unlock all endings and maximise event rewards.

• Unlock an ending: Adventure EXP x100, Primogems x20, Guide to Prosperity x3
• Unlock two endings: Adventure EXP x100, Hero's Wit x5, Prithiva Topaz Fragment x3
• Unlock three endings: Adventure EXP x100, Primogems x20, Qiankun Mora Meat x5

What are the achievements of "The Jade Chamber's Returning Guest" Hangout Event?

You can unlock three achievements during the Hangout Event to boost further your rewards with Primogems.

You've Got to Have Reserves

• Objective: Catch at least seven fish with Ningguang.
• Reward: Primogems x5

Overprotectiveness

• Objective: Complete the confrontation with the Suspicious Person during “Confrontation”.
• Reward: Primogems x5

Megrez's Companion Star

• Objective: Complete the 'The Jade Chamber's Returning Guest' event and unlock all five event endings.
• Reward: Primogems x20

There are five Hangout Event endings for The Jade Chamber's Returning Guest. Trigger each of the five endings by choosing specific dialogue choices that influence each outcome.

Let's take a look at all five event endings, as well as the specific dialogue choices required to obtain the endings.

Ending 1 - "While the View Remains Good"

Travelers must select the following dialogue choices to get the specific ending for While the View Remains Good.

Scheduling the Day:

• "Don't worry about them. They're very capable."

For this ending, they must select a different dialogue choice for The Grand Banquet, however, producing a different story path following this story choice.

• "Well, we have time to go and check up on them if you want."

The Story Route for "The Weight of a Collection" ending looks as follows:

Ending 3 - "Unchanging Will"

Select a different dialogue option for Scheduling the Day, which alters the entire story to produce a brand new ending.

• "Let's do something you never normally have time for."

This is the Story Route for the "Unchanging Will" ending:

Ending 4 - "Fortunes Shared"

The dialogue choice remains the same for Scheduling the Day from Ending 3; the dialogue choice for Time Off! changes, granting you an extra option for the fourth ending.

• "(Alright. Time to avoid anything too complicated.)."

Time Off!:

• "Let's do something you never normally have time the opportunity to do."
• "Let's start at the bottom of the ladder."

This is the Story Route for the "Fortunes Shared" ending:

Ending 5 - “Feint and Riposte”

For the final ending of "The Jade Chamber's Returning Guest" Hangout Event, players will need to select a different dialogue option for Crisis Averted...? which develops an entirely new Story Path for this ending to be triggered.

• "(Alright. Time to avoid anything too complicated.)."

Time Off!:

• "Let's do something you never normally have time the opportunity to do."
• "Let's go and find some work at Northland Bank."

The Snare:

• Locate and talk with the Suspicious Person to the left side of the bridge.
