God of War Ragnarok features an intricate combat system where progression comes from crafting new armor pieces, upgrading your existing gear and weapons, unlocking new skills, and more.

To combat some of the most challenging foes in God of War Ragnarok, you will have to be on the lookout for valuable resources that allows you to upgrade your gear. One such rare resource is Asgardian Ingot. Here's where you can find it in God of War Ragnarok. 

How to get Asgardian Ingot in God of War Ragnarok

Although the name suggests otherwise, you won't necessarily find Asgardian Ingot in the Asgard realm. Instead, you will find it in red chests, coffins, and other destructible objects scattered all around the nine realms. 

Asgardian Ingot starts to drop significantly in the late-game areas, so we recommend checking through every chest in those late hours. Helheim, in particular, is a great place to farm Asgardian Ingot. 

You might not get to visit Helheim until you're twenty hours into the game, but when you do, make sure to search every nook and cranny for this valuable resource. 

You will need Asgardian Ingot to upgrade Kratos' Armor. This includes Chest Armor, Wrist Armor, and Waist Armor. As such, you must gather a handful of Asgardian Ingot to upgrade your favorite armor pieces and avoid getting overwhelmed in the late-game combat sections.
