Is God of War Ragnarok On PlayStation Plus?

The newest installment in the iconic franchise, God of War Ragnarok, was released in November 2022 to much fanfare, and lots of people want to get their hands on this brand PlayStation exclusive. As such, lots of players are wondering whether God of War Ragnarok is on PlayStation Plus.

Is God of War Ragnarok On PlayStation Plus?

Unfortunately, no, God of War Ragnarok is not currently available on PlayStation Plus, at least on launch day. Players must pay full price if they want to enjoy this game for now.

That said, just because God of War Ragnarok isn't available on PlayStation Plus right now does not mean it will never be added to the platform. The game's predecessor, God of War, is available for PlayStation Plus subscribers to play for free. This means that it is highly likely that Sony will add God of War Ragnarok to PlayStation plus eventually, though it isn't there on day one.

Is God of War On PlayStation Plus?

Thankfully, yes, God of War is on PlayStation Plus. While you won't be able to play God of War Ragnarok using your PlayStation Plus on release day, you can still play its predecessor, God of War, at no extra cost with your subscription.

If you're just getting into the series and you already have a PlayStation Plus subscription, it might be a good idea to give the first game a try before choosing whether to purchase God of War Ragnarok. As we mentioned, it's also likely that God of War Ragnarok will join God of War in the PlayStation Plus roster in a bit of time.
