God of War Ragnarok: How To Get The Watchtower Key

The world of God of War Ragnarok is filled with optional areas to explore, quests to complete, stories to discover, puzzles to solve, and more. As such, often, you will come across something new that will pique your interest.

One of the early regions you get to explore in God of War Ragnarok is Svatalfheim, and while doing the In Service of Asgard side quest, you may come across a locked Watch Tower. Sadly, the key to this mysterious Watch Tower isn't marked on your map, and you will have to do a little digging if you want to get it open.

The Watchtower Key Location in God of War Ragnarok

To get the key to the Watch Tower in Svatalfheim, you will have to go to the island right next to the big geyser.

Go to your boat below the Watch Tower, and head northeast.

You will soon come across the big geyser and the island next to it. 

Once you're on the island, take the path on the right after destroying the flame pot and go upwards. You will have to solve an Axe puzzle to make the elevator work. Once the elevator is active, use it to go up and jump down to break the floor and go down. 

Here you will face a Bergsra Mother. Once you have cleared the area, look for a chest. The key to the Watch Tower lies inside it.
