When Will GTA 6 Be Released? Speculation

With the recent data leaks of GTA 6, it looks like the game has a long way to go before it is ready for the public to see it. But, the grand release of GTA 6 might be a lot sooner than we might have originally thought.

Microsoft recently submitted a document to the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) about acquiring Activision. In that document, Microsoft explicitly stated that GTA 6 will release sometime in 2024. This is actually a huge leak if Microsoft is accurate with what they submitted. From what we have seen, there is no reason to not believe that GTA 6 won't release in 2024. So hopefully, that means we will see some official trailers come out in 2023 for GTA 6.

GTA 6 Updates & Possible Info

In one of the biggest data breaches in gaming history, a lot was revealed about GTA 6. First of all, like GTA 5, GTA 6 will feature multiple protagonists. They will likely have intertwining stories that all relate to each other in some way.

On top of that, GTA 6 is confirmed to take place in Vice City. The gameplay footage shows off various areas in Vice City, which is the game's reflection of the real-world city of Miami.

Some gameplay mechanics were shown off as well. Players can rob stores, shooting mechanics were shown off, and a few unnamed locations were shown off as well. The best thing that we know so far is that these leaks were confirmed to be real. The leaker was arrested and Rockstar made an official statement about the matter as well. So we know that the leaks were true of GTA 6. Rockstar said that they are hoping to soon show off a more completed version of the game and we will update this page once they do so.
