Legends of Runeterra 3.11.0 Patch Notes - New Expansion, Champions, Skins, More

Legends of Runeterra continues to evolve with the release of the 3.11.0 update. The latest patch trickles in a new expansion called Forces from Beyond, which includes new cards, challenges, quests, and AI Decks. Besides this, Riot Games have added a brand new Star Guardian event to the game.

New Expansion- Forces From Beyond

LoR 3.11.0 patch brings a new expansion called Forced from Beyond, which is packed with three new unique champions, new keywords, and the introduction of the Star Guardian event to Legends of Runeterra!

The expansion pack will be made available on 20th July at approximately 11:00 am PT.

New Mechanics and Keywords

Our latest Runeterran champion is Evelynn, and her origin is called Agony’s Embrace. With this insatiable demon, any card that will summon a Husk can be put into your deck.

Evolve empowers and encourages you to field a variety of Keywords, once you’ve summoned or given 6 unique positive keywords, your cards with Evolve will take on a new form, granting them +2 | +2.

Our newest keyword will haunt you from beyond the grave, Hallowed cards will take effect after they die. For each Hallowed card that has died this game, give +1|+0 to your first attacker that round.

New Challenges

• New Challenges and Quests have been brought to the table to add the keywords, champions, and origin.
• More AI decks featuring cards added in the expansion have also been added to the Vs. AI opponent pool.

Return of Labs

Labs have Returned to the League of Runeterra with patch 3.11.0.

Star Guardian Event

The Star Guardian event begins with patch 3.11.0. The event features an array of amazing emotes, stunning skins, glittering guardians, and enchanting card backs. Obtain the pass to get yourself the brand new Star Guardian Quinn skin!

The pass contains a bunch of free rewards as well. So if buying the pass isn’t for you, there are several opportunities for you as well. Avail the pass August 3 to get an exclusive quest that awards 10 Stardust and a Rare Prismatic Chest!

This bundle contains:

• Star Guardian Gwen
• Star Guardian Senna
• Star Guardian Lulu
• Star Guardian Jinx
• Star Guardian Taliyah
• Champion cards for all of the above champions

Miscellaneous

• Moving forward, Path of Champions will be its own mode independent from Labs.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue where Spell Slinger’s targeting text does not update when damage is modified
• Fixed an issue where the countdown number wasn’t highlighted in yellow for some landmarks
• Fixed an issue where some champions’ card text did not update to reflect damage buffs
• Fixed an issue where playing cards with Thermogenic Beam in hand would display Thermogenic Beam in the Action Log
