Season 1 has finally arrived in MultiVersus, and players are already wondering which characters could appear in the new timeline of content. Legolas from Lord of the Rings has quickly become one of the hottest topics for the game.
We all knew that Rick and Morty were the first set of characters that would be added with the new season, but anything after is essentially up in the air. While we may not have a strict roadmap of future fighters, there have been hints dropped by the developers, and Legolas has become one of the front runners for MultiVersus Season 1.
MultiVersus Season 1 - Will Legolas join the roster?
The short answer to Legolas joining MultiVersus in Season 1 is a resounding maybe. There are a couple of pieces of evidence that point toward the Lord of the Rings elf being one of the next fighters that jump into the action. Some point towards Lord of the Rings in general and others towards the elf specifically.
Just a couple of days ago on August 13, MultiVersus Game Director Tony Huynh tweeted out a simple teaser. In the tweet, he stated, "Who likes bows and arrows?" Now, this could really only be two characters from the library that Warner Bros. has. Tony Huynh is either referencing Green Arrow or Legolas.

Which one appears is really up in the air. Both are entirely viable for different reasons. We already know that DC heroes and villains are in the game and Green Arrow is by no means a stretch. Lord of the Rings has yet to enter the game in any capacity, but there is plenty of evidence to counter that.
Gandalf and the Eye of Sauron have been spotted in the game files for MultiVersus when the game initially went live. Warner Bros. has access to the original Lord of the Rings trilogy and it's no surprise to see evidence of the franchise in the files.
The Rings of Power show, also set in the Lord of the Rings universe, is right around the corner. This would be a perfect time to introduce the franchise to MultiVersus, but these are two entirely separate projects.
Considering Season 1 is brand new in MultiVersus, the developers will have a lot on their plate for the next week or so. After things settle, we'll more than likely get some insight to which bow character we can expect. It would be fantastic to see Lord of the Rings alongside Game of Thrones in any capacity.
