MultiVersus EVO 2022 – How To Get And Redeem Codes

It feels almost a century since the Evolution Championship Series (EVO) opened its arms to the public, with in-person festivities taking a foothold. In 2020, the tournament was canceled due to the devastating COVID-19 pandemic and only started getting back into the arena in 2021, with EVO hosting the competition online.

This year, the fighting game community (FGC) could attend EVO 2022 in person, as they got to witness professional players compete and play their favorite games, including the free-to-play (F2P) fighting game, MultiVersus at EVO 2022. Leaving with a bang, the FGC got to unlock new in-game items; we've detailed how to earn and redeem the MultiVersus EVO codes to receive the items.

MultiVersus Exclusive Items And How To Redeem

MultiVersus is one of the most rapidly growing fighting games right now. As a Warner Bros. title, MultiVersus merges the worlds within the properties the company produced or owns and puts some of those more well-known characters on a combative gaming pedestal.

From Finn and Jake from Adventure Time to Arya Stark from Game of Thrones, MultiVersus is an uprising crossover-themed fighting game in its beta testing phase. Considering how well-received and popular the game is within the FGC, the game appeared at EVO 2022 for fans to take photos of, participate in the competition, and generally enjoy.

Besides the MultiVersus LAN event, non-participating fans got to take home exclusive in-game cosmetics to bling out their accounts. Fans can redeem a code for a short time to get an EVO 2022-themed profile icon and banner.

Fans need to head to the MultiVersus website to redeem these items, where afterward, they’ll need to login into their accounts or create ones. Once done, type EVO2022 in the bar to claim the items; however, note that the code’s case-sensitive, so fans need to type it precisely, and then it’s all good to go.

Although EVO 2022 might be over, it’s always great to have something to show for it, especially if it’s a cool-looking profile icon or banner. With another year done, there’ll be another to follow. For now, keep an eye out on MultiVersus as its first season debuts alongside two new characters and various other features.
