Palia Up The Hill Quest And Walkthrough

Nai'o isn't quite done with his task of activating the old Stable boards in The Elderwood, as we need to establish another connection by posting another Stable board. This is possible thanks to the quest reward from the Through the Woods quest, in which Palians can craft a Stable board and fast travel to the Central stables in Kilima Village, Bahari Bay, and The Elderwood.

As for where they can construct the Stable board, it is just for their Housing Plot, meaning Palians now have two travel methods: the gate at the back of their plot and a Stable board! Palia Up The Hill Quest Objectives List

After assisting Nai'o with locating the Stable boards in The Elderwood, he awards Palians with a new blueprint (recipe) allowing them to craft a Stable board for our Housing Plot. But in order for them to be able to craft this decor item, they'll need to forage for some resources in The Elderwood and acquire a few blueprints (recipes) to make this possible.

This brief Discovery quest from Nai'o revolves around this task, and they'll be able to complete it without breaking a sweat before being able to use the board. Below, we've listed the objectives to help Palians follow and check off every objective for the Up the Hill quest.

How To Complete The Up The Hill Quest In Palia?

Immediately after completing the Through the Woods quest, where Palians must seek out the remaining four Stable board locations across The Elderwood, they can begin working on crafting a Stables Sign board for their Housing Plot. Nai'o gifts them the blueprint (recipe) after completing the Through the Woods quest, and now they'll need the resources to make the board before placing it on their Housing Plot.

Firstly, they'll need Ancient Wood and Whitestone, which the trees around the Honeymiel Slope and the Deep Woods are great starting points to farm them, especially the infected trees, as they can receive Infected Essence as loot if they consume the Elderwood Potion. They'll need 30 Ancient Wood and seven Whitestone Ores before heading to Kilima Village and Bahari Bay, where they must locate Ashura and Hodari to buy the Ancient Wood Plank and Whitestone Slab blueprints (recipes) for 500 and 300 Gold, respectively.

Additionally, Hodari has the blueprint (recipe) for the Platinum Bar for 5,000 Gold from the Mining Guild Store, so unless Palians are going to use Platinum for crafting or to sell for Gold, it may be wise not to get it until they have enough money. Head back to the Housing Plot and begin processing the Ancient Wood logs into planks and smelt the Whitestone Ores into slabs using the Basic or Heavy Smelter.

With the planks and slabs in their backpack or storage chest inventory, they can head to the Worktable to craft the Stables Sign and place it anywhere on the Housing Plot. Nai'o will visit their plot to congratulate them on crafting the Stable Sign, in which, according to its description, a Riffroc can transport them "anywhere on Palia for a modest fee," which completes the Up the Hill quest.
