Pokémon GO Style Shop Getting A Stylish Update

Pokémon GO offers Trainers various customization options to personalize their Trainer in unique cosmetic items from the Style Shop. This in-game Shop hosts hundreds of items for you to style your Trainer from head to toe, and now, it’s getting a massive update.

Niantic has confirmed that new updates are coming to the Style Shop, adding new features, improving the interface, and revealing new discounted items. We’ve explained what the Style Shop is and all the new additions arriving to Pokémon GO.

What Is The Style Shop In Pokémon GO?

The Style Shop is an in-game commerce section where you can acquire new Avatar cosmetics for your Trainer. The shop consistently gets updated with new seasonal items and limited-time cosmetics based on the in-game events for which Trainers can purchase for free or using PokéCoins.

These Avatar items are available for multiple customization options like hats, glasses, neck pieces, tops, bags, belts, bottoms, socks, footwear, mask, and color variants. Additionally, you can customize your Trainer’s pose, which can be purchased from the shop or earned as a reward for completing Research tasks and more.

Specific Avatar items are level-locked as they require a certain Trainer level or medal rank to be available to you. The latter would be tied with the current season GO Battle League, which has various cosmetic items available by meeting the allocated rank requirement, which this season features items inspired by Driftveil Gym leader Clay.

Pokémon GO Season Of Hidden Gems Style Shop: All Shop Updates (June 2023):

With the Season of Hidden Gems releasing on 1st June 2023 at 10 am local time, Niantic announced that the Style Shop would be gaining a massive overhaul to its interface. This update now lets Trainers view Avatar collections more efficiently and added a closet feature for Trainers to save outfits.

New Avatar items will also be highlighted in the Style Shop, making browsing easier for Trainers looking to buy new threads. Finally, Niantic has added a vertical navigation feature that replaces the current horizontal navigation to improve searching for items in sub-categories and give you a complete view of your Avatar.

This month, Niantic has added a few new Avatar items to the Style Shop that Trainers can grab for free or use PokéCoins. We’ve also added items that will be available from in-game events and the current GO Battle League season:

  • Team Leader Happi Coats: discounted until 5th June 2023 at 10 pm PDT
  • Pikachu Onesie: discounted until 5th June 2023 at 10 pm PDT
  • Kanto-partnered hoodies: discounted until 5th June 2023 at 10 pm PDT
  • Diver Goggles: available at the start of the Water Festival: Beach Week event
  • Diver Outfit: available at the start of the Water Festival: Beach Week event
  • Sandygast Hat: available at the start of the Water Festival: Beach Week event
  • Clay-style Hat, Shoes, Pants, Shirt, and Pose: GO Battle League Rewards
