SMITE x Slipknot - Skins, release date, more

Over the course of the last few years, Hi Rez Studios has made it a point to incorporate popular crossover content for SMITE players to unlock in-game content. Some of the past collaborations have seen Transformers, Avatar, Stranger Things, and other popular franchises feature skins and cosmetics for fans to incorporate into SMITE gameplay.

The battleground of the gods has been raging with intense action since the start of Season 9, and now the first major crossover drop is set to go live. It's time to put on a show, check out the SMITE x Slipknot crossover release date, skins, and more.

SMITE x Slipknot crossover - Release date

An official post from SMITE confirmed the upcoming Slipknot crossover and revealed the event would go live in May 2022. While there is no exact date yet specified, we can make an educated guess based on Slipknot's schedule.

The Knotfest Roadshow 2022 (a massive Summer tour for Slipknot) is scheduled to begin on 18th May, so the event could go live as a cross-promotion. Do note that there is a SMITE Update Show scheduled for 11th May which will provide further info on the Slipknot collab.

Slipknot x SMITE skins - Poseidon, Chaac, Raijin

The SMITE x Slipknot crossover will feature a skin for each of the nine members of Slipknot. Hi Rez Studios have settled on three gods to receive Slipknot skins with each god getting three.

Posiedon (mage), Chaac (warrior), and Raijin (mage) will all receive Slipknot skins when the crossover officially goes live. It's unclear at this time if the content will be made available for purchase in the item shop, or if it will be available for unlocking via a battle pass. Make sure to tune into the Update Show for further details.
