MythForce PC system requirements and file size

Developed by Beamdog and published by Aspyr Media, MythForce is a roguelite adventure, inspired by beloved 80s cartoons, combining magic and melee weapons with 1st-person combat to deliver something unique. The game bursts into Early Access on the Epic Games Store on 20th April 2022, exclusive to PC. As a PC game, fans might want to know if their rig meets the MythForce system requirements (specs) and how big the game's download will be.

If you want to get started with the roguelite adventure as soon as possible, then you will need to know if your gaming rig is up to the task of handling MythForce.

First up, you will need to have Windows 10 (64-bit) installed as the minimum Operating System. While the minimum specs required for MythForce aren't crazy, some PC gamers might want to upgrade to get the most out of the title.

MythForce recommended PC specs:

• CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
• Memory: 16 GB RAM
• GPU: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1080 or AMD RX 5600 XT
• DirectX: DirectX 11
• SoundCard: Windows Compatible Audio Device

There's one big detail in MythForce's official PC system requirements, especially in the minimum section, that isn't exactly normal. The game's Epic Games Store page notes that an SSD is required as a minimum.

This is a bit odd, as generally even the most graphically intensive games only recommend an SSD, but does not require it. We will have to wait and see if those with standard HDDs will still be able to play MythForce without too much lag.

What is the file/download size of MythForce?

While MythForce's Epic Games Store page notes an SSD as the minimum, at least the file size for Beamdog's latest title isn't all that huge.

MythForce's file size/download size is expected to weigh in at roughly 12 GB, noted as the required storage. Remember, this is an Early Access title, so the game's file size might increase a bit as more updates get pushed out.
