Best SWS-10 loadout for Battlefield 2042

Everyone needs a reliable flanker in their team, and if you learn to dominate the SWS-10 sniper, you could fulfil that role in Battlefield 2042 by using the best loadout.

Battlefield 2042 has been released officially, and the excitement to play a match after a match has tainted a big part of the community that were already big fans of the franchise.

The newness of the specialists combined with a full inventory of weapons at our disposal has triggered our willingness to grind this game out and complete every objective.

As for the weapons, we have already covered some LMGs like the LCMG or assault riffles like the M5A3, and now we get to grab a little bit more distance and find the best loadout for the SWS-10 sniper.

This SWS-10 has the biggest glint of all Battlefield 2042 snipers

The SWS-10 is not very high in our rankings as it lacks reliability for a gun that generally should be one-downing opponents left and right with stunning high firepower, but unless you headshot everyone, the sniper glint will often reveal your position before getting the kill.

Before we go any further, here is our best loadout for the SWS-10:

  • Muzzle: ARCOM Tactical Muzzle Brake
  • Scope: Raven 4x
  • Ammunition: Standard Issue
  • Mount: Cobra Grip

We actually won´t bother to extend the weapon’s magazine, so we are sticking with the Standard Issue. However, we will need to boost our chances of knocking opponents down in one shot; that is why the ARCOM Tactical Muzzle Break and the Cobra Grip are a great combination for our weapon.

It is important that you keep some complementary attachments in your “back pocket” as you may need them for situational encounters of a specific role you may fill.

We recommend you to add in your plus menu a sound suppressor to keep stealth in closer distances, an extended magazine also for close combat and maybe the 6x scope to do the opposite to gain advantage from a distance.

Regardless of the loadout you prefer, it is always helpful to be able to attack from longer ranges, and if you learn to dominate the art of the headshot, the SWS-10 would be the go-to sniper for your armoury.
