Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 live event Collision announced

After being rumored for days, Epic Games has finally confirmed the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 live event that would bring this season to an end. The upcoming live event is called Collision and takes place on 4th June 2022.

Ever since the Fortnite v20.40 update dropped, rumors have been swirling about a potential live event to conclude the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2. To fuel everyone's excitement, the gigantic Doomsday Device appeared on the Fortnite map, indicating something epic was on the horizon.

As mentioned above, Epic Games has finally confirmed the Chapter 3 Season 2 live event, which takes place on 4th June 2022 at 4 PM ET / 1 PM PT. 

According to Epic's official blog post, "The fate of the Zero Point will be decided in this one-time, in-game event - "COLLISION." This event will require all hands on deck, so squad up in a party of four and strap in for go-time. The "COLLISION" playlist will be available in Fortnite 30 minutes prior to the start time for players to suit up."

As it turns out, Collision is a one-time-only event with no recap option available. Epic Games has also enlisted a list of activities that players should finish before the upcoming live event wraps up Chapter 3 Season 2.

These include but are not limited to completing Prowler's quests, collecting Omni Chips, and redeeming battle stars. Players can still use their remaining battle stars in the next season, but the Omni Chips will be gone forever. 

How to get exclusive Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 live event Collision rewards for free

Players also have the chance to unlock new Collision live event rewards for free before the event kicks off. These include an exclusive loading screen and lobby track.

To claim these Collision live event rewards, players must log in to Fortnite on June 4th 2022, starting at 8 AM ET / 5 AM PT. Epic Games will also add the Mecha Weapons Team Outfits to the item shop before the live event though it has not revealed a date yet.
