Additionally, the developer released new details for the 2.6 Epitome Invocation event featuring the 5-star sword, Haran Geppaku Futsu. To obtain this weapon, Travelers must utilise the Epitomized Path to set a course for the 5-star sword, thereby increasing its drop rate.

Original story continues.

Genshin Impact's 2.6 Special Program livestream has given Travelers more reasons to look forward to their next adventures in Inzuama, with a new character, banner reruns and weapons arriving in the 2.6 update from 30th March 2022.

Additionally, developer HoYoverse unveiled new weapons featured through in-game events during the update. Here are all the characters and weapons announced in the Special Program livestream for Genshin Impact's 2.6 update.

Genshin Impact 2.6 update - All characters

In February 2022, HoYoverse confirmed Kamisato Ayato's inclusion in the game as its next playable character. Additionally, the head of the Kamisato Clan will be available in the first phase of the Character Event Wish banners, with more details on the launch dates to follow soon.

HoYoverse detailed the character set to feature alongside Ayato during the first phase of the Character Event Wish banner. Travelers who haven't had the opportunity to get Venti will have another chance in the 2.6 update as both banners will be available from 30th March 2022.

The livestream also revealed the character getting a rerun in the second phase of Character Event Wish banners. As previously speculated, Kamisato Ayaka is returning for another run for those who missed out on previous banner events.

Lastly, the Irodori Festival is the centrepiece of the 2.6 update and was featured in the main in-game event, Hues of the Violet Garden. So, we can expect many familiar characters appearing throughout the festival, including Arataki Itto, Thoma and the Kamisato siblings, Ayaka and Ayato.

Once you have met the event's prerequisites, you can invite Xingqiu to experience all the festivities at the Irodori Festival. There are a handful of exciting interactions between the various characters in attendance and a few surprises in store.

In this domain, Travelers can complete a series of challenges where they can receive new Artifacts as rewards. The Vermillion Hereafter and Echoes of an Offering are on hand to earn if you dare venture out into the chasmic Artifact domain.
