All Gale Flame Locations In God of War Ragnarok

Gale Flame is a rare resource in God of War Ragnarok that you will need to upgrade the Draupnir Spear. Here's where you can find them.

All Gale Flame Locations In God of War Ragnarok

Halfway through the main story in God of War Ragnarok, Kratos gets a new weapon called Draupnir Spear. Like Blades of Chaos and Leviathan Axe, the Draupnir Spear comes with its own skill tree and upgrade path.

To upgrade Draupnir Spear, you will need Gale Flame. Since it's a late-game resource, you might have a hard time tracking their locations. As such, here's our guide explaining where to find Gale Flames in God of War Ragnarok.

All Gale Flame locations in God of War Ragnarok

There are 4 Gale Flames in God of War Ragnarok. 

Gale Fame location 1

You can get it from the main quest, 'The Summoning,' after defeating the Valkyries - Hrist and Mist.

Gale Flame location 2
You can get it by completing the Favor, 'Nocturnal Predator' in Vanaheim. However, you can only access this side quest at night, which means you will have to first finish the main quest, 'For Vanaheim!' and unlock the Celestial Altar that will allow you to change the time of the day. 

Gale Flame location 3
You can get it by defeating Berserkers Bodvar The Fierce and Starolfr the Troublesome in the Applecore region of Jarnsmida Pitmines in Svartlfheim. 

Gale Flame location 4
For the last Gale Flame, you will have to first collect six Gale Sparks. You will get them by completing the 'Lost Lindwyrms' Favor. The Lindwyrms hide in Yggdrasil Rifts that you will find in Svartlfheim and Vanaheim. Check the rifts again after you have caught the Lindwyrms to find Gale Sparks within them.
