Simulated Universe is one of the best experiences in Honkai Star Rail. There is nothing more satisfying than grabbing a ton of buffs to power up your characters to ridiculous strength levels before taking on a boss. There are 6 Worlds in Honkai Star Rail's Simulated Universe, each with varying levels of difficulty. World 5 Difficulty 2 is a rematch against a more powerful version of the Stellaron Hunter, Kafka.
Honkai Star Rail Simulated Universe World 5 Difficulty 2 can be a little tricky if you don't have the correct team composition or choose beneficial Blessings. That's where we come in. This article will cover everything you need to know about Simulated Universe World 5!

Honkai Star Rail Simulated Universe World 5 Difficulty 2 Guide
Players shouldn't have too much trouble defeating lesser mobs or Elite enemies in Simulated Universe, as long as your team, Traces, and Relics are at the appropriate level. The final boss, Kafka, however, is a different story entirely.
Kafka has a different move set than she does in the Trailblaze Mission battle, meaning players will need to adopt some different strategies if they plan on taking her down.
Best Team Composition
Kafka is weak to Physical, Wind, and Imaginary Element types. At the time of writing this, there is only one Imaginary character in the game, Welt. However, with Luocha and Yukong on the horizon, this battle may become easier with their help. That being said, a free-to-play team can be seen below.
-
Dan Heng (Wind)
-
Fire Trailblazer (Fire) / Trailblazer (Physical)
-
Natasha (Physical)
-
March 7th (Ice)
Natasha is a great healer for this fight in particular, as she is of the Physical Element. Dan Heng is a great DPS, able to dish out tons of damage on Kafka. Players will likely need some kind of tank, and the Fire Trailblazer will have to satisfy this role, even though she doesn't directly inflict Weakness Break on Kafka. The final option is somewhat of a flex pick, depending on the characters in your inventory. Ideally, bringing someone who can lock down enemies like March 7th is a good idea, but removing debuffs is crucial in this fight. Here is a more premium team example:
As mentioned, Kafka inflicts tons of debuffs, including stuns, silences, and a unique debuff that makes your characters attack each other. Bronya is great at clearing away these debuffs and keeping your team healthy while the rest of the composition is there to heal and deal DPS.
Clara, the solo queen herself, can also solo this fight under the right conditions:
- Clara (Physical)
Clara is able to solo most Simulated Universe content in the game but requires the Path of Abundance or Destruction to sustain herself indefinitely.
Best Path
Choosing the Path of Abundance when facing Kafka is recommended if you want to be very safe and if your gear is slightly lacking. This provides passive healing (Path Resonance: Anatta), allowing you to weather the storm of her flurry of attacks.
For this fight in particular, choosing all Abundance Blessings, even if they don't directly benefit you, is a good choice. Players will want to max out their Path Resonance before the Kafka fight. This is because if enough Abundance Blessings are chosen, the passive healing from Path Resonance Anatta will also cleanse Clara's debuffs and make your team less susceptible to future debuffs. This helps prevent your team from being stun-locked by Kafka. Luckily, if you plan on soloing this content with Clara and no other teammates, Clara doesn't have to worry about attacking other members of the party.
