The relationship between Sifuu and her son, Hassian, has been strained at best despite Sifuu's attempts at mending fences. Sifuu calls on players to help her with a family dilemma since Hassian hasn't visited their family home in a while, which is an objective to complete for the Home for Dinner Discovery quest.

How To Complete The Home For Dinner Discovery Quest In Palia?

Sifuu and Hassian's relationship has been constrained due to Hassian citing that his mother lacks the "maternal instincts" to care for him following Sifuu's partner's disappearance. Having estranged himself from his mother years ago, he now resides in Bahari Bay with Tau but has never visited Sifuu for a while.

This Discovery quest can be triggered after speaking with Sifuu while having Friendship level 1 with her, which she has quite the favor to ask of players. Since she last saw Hassian some time ago, she asks players to speak with him when they see him and ask if he could come home for dinner.

When they meet with Hassian, they ask him to visit his mom at home for dinner, and he appears to be annoyed by the request. Nevertheless, he'll finally give up on people asking him about visiting Sifuu, telling them that he will see his mother and stay for dinner, which they can return to Sifuu with Hassian's response.

Upon returning to Sifuu, they can report back on Hassian's response, which Sifuu is ecstatic to hear, thanking players for convincing Hassian to come home. Regardless of the dialogue option they've selected, she'll award them with 15 Renown, two Steak Dinners, and improving their Friendship with her, and they may have a chance to earn an additional five Renown upon its completion.

Palia is currently available via the Epic Games Store and in Open Beta for PC, as players can install the game launcher detailed in this guide. The game is now available to download for Nintendo Switch as of 14th December 2023.
