Boost Emblems are a new in-game feature Trainers can earn various rarities and equip to their loadout before matches in Pokémon Unite.
Pokémon Unite Boost Emblems – How To Get And Upgrade

Pokémon Unite’s Season 9 game update adds their Anniversary Celebration content, new limited-time battle event, and Pokémon to the game. Likewise, several Pokémon received significant changes to their stats and abilities to adjust the balance of all competitive matches.

A new game mechanic, Boost Emblems, has garnered many discussions as many Trainers have yet to determine how it functions in-game. This guide will explain how to acquire Boost Emblems, upgrade them, and what Color Effects are in Pokémon Unite.

The game’s developer TiMi Studio Group has provided Trainers with how Trainers can acquire Boost Emblems in Pokémon Unite. The best-guaranteed way is through the game’s gacha system, Aeos Energy, where you’ll need to fill up an Energy Tank to collect rewards.

This can be done by participating in matches and other battles in-game, contributing to filling up the tank. A maximum of 100 units of Aeos Energy is required to claim a reward, for which Boost Emblems are one such reward.

At the start of the season, all Trainers will receive a free exchange in which they can stand a chance of receiving a Boost Emblem. Once claimed, they’ll have to play matches and battles, fill up the tank and exchange the energy for a reward.

Pokémon Unite – How to upgrade a Boost Emblem

The process of upgrading a Boost Emblem appears straightforward; however, it requires Trainers to have multiple emblems for one Pokémon. Furthermore, the emblem must be of the same rarity as Aeos Coins are needed to complete the upgrade.

You can navigate the Trainer Profile menu in the top left corner and click on “Pokémon boost emblems.” Trainers can view all their collected emblems; a tally is kept on the screen of owned emblems broken down by rarity.

To upgrade a Boost Emblem, select the emblem you wish to upgrade and click on the “merge” button beside it to upgrade it from Bronze to Silver and Silver to Gold. You need three emblems of the same rarity to upgrade them for one emblem of the higher rarity.

Additionally, you can change your current Boost Emblem loadout within the same menu under the “Configure Boost Emblems” tab. You have the option to receive a custom loadout which gives you various options on which stats you want to boost depending on the emblems you currently own.

You can also view descriptions of each Color Effect emblem and what stacking effects are produced when equipped. Similarly, you can view this information from the Emblem Dex menu which at least one Color Effect is assigned to every emblem.
