Rocket League professional player Jirair "Gyro" Papazian has been unexpectedly benched from the FaZe Clan starting three on 22nd June 2021, announced by the official FaZe roster updates account.
The announcement comes only three months since The Peeps signed with the prestigious American organisation and shortly after the team finished Top 6 in the NA region during the RLCS X Championships.
I'll be working with @FaZeClan to find new team options heading into next season. It did catch me off guard, but now I'm just even more fired up for next season.

“I'll be working with FaZe Clan to find new team options heading into next season”, the 18-year-old confirmed. “It did catch me off guard, but now I'm just even more fired up for next season.”
This benching adds to the already long list of the barely-starting Rostermania for the car-soccer esport.

Gyro has played for only three teams in his career with a huge impact in all of them, from finishing in 2nd place and Top 6 with Pittsburgh Knights in NA and World Championship to taking independent team The Peeps to multiple Top 4 finishes during RLCS X.
Even after signing with FaZe, the squad kept delivering results, finishing Top 4 in the Spring Major and securing a spot in the RLCS X North American Championship, clinching their participation in the then-cancelled LAN event.
Now, FaZe Clan will assist the young talent in being accommodated accordingly to the impressive resumé of his, as former teammates Austin "AYYJAYY" Aebi and Braxton "Allushin" Lagarec are looking for one more to complete the team.
