Psyonix disqualifies NRG Sizz from RLCS Semis after "brainless monkeys" rant

The Rocket League Championship Series organisers took a stand against harsh criticism from the World Champion.
Psyonix disqualifies NRG Sizz from RLCS Semis after "brainless monkeys" rant

The General NRG coach Emiliano "Sizz" Benny has been disqualified from coaching during the RLCS X North American Championship Semifinals on 17th June 2021.

The ruling comes after the 24-year-old berated the Rocket League developers and esports league organisers during his Intel World Open Qualifiers stream.

“I just want one f****** useless f****** member of Psyonix... to sit and watch my stream and be like ‘yeah, this looks normal to me’”, the former World Champion blurt out.

“You stupid f****** garbage company. F****** disgrace. F*** this f****** game... I’m sitting with a f****** giga-handicap... I hope one of these useless f**** is watching my stream. A company full of f****** brainless monkeys. What is going on that I’m still lagging in 2021? It’s been seven years.”

Per Psyonix, “Sizz violated the RLCS and Rocket League Player Code of Conduct” that applies to all players, content creators, streamers and professionals by lashing out against the company or staff directly.

Sizz’s disqualification mimics that one of Slater “Retals” Thomas who also insulted Psyonix staff after another technical issue during professional Rocket League competition.

High-profile names have commented on the matter like FaZe Clan’s Austin "AYYJAYY" Aebi, teammate Garrett “GarrettG” Gordon and even witness Dillon “Rizzo” Rizzo while Sizz is yet to come public with a statement after the ruling.
