The roster had one of the craziest second halves of an RLCS season the fan base has ever seen.
Triple Trouble-turned-Illusion disbands after bizarre RLCS X season

Triple Trouble-turned-Illusion cannot catch a break for their life, being on a slump since the beginning of 2021.

Finlay “Rise” Ferguson, Jovan "Parka" Richet and coach Ethan "Ethzn" Laughland have all left Illusion in announcements only minutes away, officially disbanding the former Triple Trouble squad.

Rise joined Triple Trouble from SauceSquad to replace Gian "Calix" Luca Bruder back in early February, but the team could not perform at their highest level and another leave was right around the corner.

After Calix's departure, Dan "Bluey" Bluett exited the team, with Triple Trouble not being able to keep ⅔s of their roster meaning they had to forfeit their 12th place in Europe and their 670 RLCS points.

Needing to rebrand, Illusion was introduced with Riccardo "Rizex45" Mazzotta as their new third only to be released four days later.

Parka, Rizex’s replacement, is also leaving the team alongside coach Ethzn who joined back in November of 2020.

The new squad was faced with complete inconsistency since the beginning of the year with their only highlight finishes in 2021 being a top 20 finish in Spring regional #3 and a top-eight placement in Winter Regional 3, the latter from when they were still Triple Trouble.

These are the latest roster changes as RosterMania is underway in the old continent with the last two tournaments and their spots filled out. Orgs and independent teams alike are reforming, rebranding and resigning players so be on the lookout for more RLEsports news.

Although he left back on 20th April, don’t be surprised if ex-Illusion captain and Triple Trouble original Euan "Tadpole" Ingram reforms the fan favourite banner to play under next RLCS 11.
