With introductions set aside, Palians graciously welcomed The Order's Subira to Kilima Village following a celebratory evening. While she may have been overwhelmed by the night's extravagance, it's back to business for her as she needs their help with the Illicit Trade quest.

As Subira is currently occupied with investigations into the re-emergence of humans back in the world, she received some reports on an illegal trade route being used to transport items between Kilima Village and Bahari Bay. As it's up to the players to investigate further, we have carefully detailed all the quest objectives, how to complete the Illicit Trade quest, and rewards to be claimed in Palia.

Palia Illicit Trade Quest Objectives List

Illicit Trade is the following main quest players complete once they've met Subira at the end of the Extravagant Expectations quest. Taking up residence at Ormuu's Horn Inn, they can get acquainted with the Watcher by raising their Friendship level and completing her Friendship quest.

However, as indicated in her letter, she has more pressing matters to attend to, which is evident as she has a task for players to complete. As the task requires discretion, we'll be revealing the quest objectives to guide players on what is needed from them and explain how to complete the Illicit Trade quest in Palia:

• Speak to Subira
• Investigate the location Subira marked on your Bahari Bay map for any clues.
• Bring the suspicious parcel to Subira.

How To Complete The Illicit Trade Quest In Palia?

After being introduced to Subira during the Extravagant Expectations quest, she'll forward a letter to the Mailbox requesting to meet with them in her room at Ormuu's Horn Inn. Arriving at her room, she'll explain the history of Kilima Village as a trading network between Bahari Bay before the town continued to develop.

As these trade routes between the two locations had long since disappeared, a few remained, however, being used to transport items, including Flow-infused items illegally. As she's unable to expose her position as a member of The Order, she'll ask if players can investigate a location in Bahari Bay marked on the map, which is somewhere near the cliffs at Pulsewater Plains.

The exact location is beneath the bridge southwest of the Pulsewater Plains Fast Travel Board, as players will need to look for a small Juniper tree with some rocks surrounding it. They'll find a rather suspicious package buried by the tree, which they can retrieve before returning to Subira.

Once at Subira's room at Ormuu's Horn Inn, they can hand over the package; however, its contents remain a mystery and something she won't divulge with players before concluding the ques. Nevertheless, after completing the quest, they'll receive five Flow-infused Planks, 500 Gold, and 15 Renown from Subira, mailed to them in a letter from her.

Palia is currently available via the Epic Games Store and in Open Beta for PC, as players can install the game launcher detailed in this guide. The game is now available to download for Nintendo Switch as of 14th December 2023.
