Players are gearing up for the forthcoming Stress Test and Public Beta arriving on PC for the cozy MMO, Palia, which the latter will start in August 2023. With the Nintendo Switch version arriving this Holiday Season, we await the announcement of its PC release as developer Singularity 6 is working on launching the game before the Switch version.

Is Palia Releasing On PlayStation Consoles At Launch?
Following the game's official PC and Nintendo Switch announcements, avid players of the cozy MMO, Palia, have asked its developer, Singularity 6, whether the game will be available on other platforms. This was addressed in multiple developer blog posts and a dedicated support FAQ post on additional releases for other platforms, including PlayStation 4 and 5.

As of 21st June 2023, the developer commented on whether Palia will be made available on PlayStation 4 and 5 consoles by issuing the following statement:
Right now, our primary focus is having Palia be available on Nintendo Switch and PC. We're aware of the demand for other platforms, so please keep an eye on our channels for future announcements!
While the developer has acknowledged the demand for Palia to be released on other platforms; however, it will be a while until players can find the game available on PlayStation consoles. Regardless, the developer will make future announcements on their official Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts and through their official Discord server.
If Palia brings their community sim cozy MMO to PlayStation consoles, the team will be adapting similar experiences, with few differences between PlayStation and its PC and Nintendo Switch versions. Likewise, the game will remain free-to-play (F2P), as previously stated in their Business Model blog post, with monetization for their cosmetic items and not its core gameplay content.
It's still being determined if the game will require a subscription service for PlayStation consoles, the PlayStation Plus, but we know that Switch players won't be required to have a Nintendo Switch Online paid membership. Additionally, as Palia will be supporting cross-platform play or crossplay between PC and Nintendo Switch, it's yet to be known if Palia will support crossplay for PlayStation consoles.
Palia will be hosting a Closed and Open Beta for PC scheduled for 2nd and 10th August 2023, which players can create an account to join. Palia will be released for Nintendo Switch Holiday Season 2023 as the game is available to Wishlist with a release date for PC to be announced.
