There are many reasons players would want to acquire Unsullied Hearts in the game. While this biomaterial can be consumed for Blood or change your Blood Type to Frailed, it's most commonly used to craft Greater Blood Essence. With this material, players can craft advanced weaponry and armor or Servant's Coffins, allowing them to dominate humans and turn them into Servants.
How to farm Unsullied Hearts in V Rising
There are two methods to acquire Unsullied Hearts in V Rising. The first method is by defeating Blood Carriers. The second method (not advised) is by killing high-level enemy mobs that are ranked Level 16 or higher.
Blood Carriers have roughly a 25-50% chance of dropping Unsullied Hearts as loot upon their death and are the most practical approach in V Rising. Therefore, it would be best to use the Blood Altar to track Blood Carriers that are relatively easy to kill, like Lidia the Chaos Archer, Alpha Wolf, Rufus the Foreman, or Keely the Frost Archer.

As you venture out to these Blood Carriers, there's a good chance you may run into other enemies or bosses, particularly in the Farbane Woods, which you can attempt to kill and collect additional Unsullied Hearts when you double back to your Castle Heart.
How to craft Greater Blood Essence in V Rising
Once you have 4x Unsullied Hearts, you can navigate to the Production > Refinement tab and use the Blood Press (which requires 12 Plank and 120 Stone to craft) to extract 1x Greater Blood Essence from the Unsullied Hearts. This process will take approximately 3 minutes to complete.
If your main aim is to craft Greater Blood Essence, this method is not the most practical. Instead, you'll want to craft the Greater Blood Essence using 200x Blood Essence. However, this requires a special crafting recipe that you can only acquire after defeating the Level 46 Blood Carrier, Tristan the Vampire Hunter.
Be warned, this boss is challenging to kill, and you will need to be at least Level 30 to track him at your Blood Altar. However, once you have defeated him, you will acquire the crafting recipe required to craft Blood Essence into Greater Blood Essence.
Lastly, as mentioned earlier, you could also acquire Unsullied Hearts from high-level enemy mobs; however, the drop chance is extremely low and simply not worth trying.
It is speculated that some late-game areas of Vardoran, like Silverlight Hills or Cursed Forest, could have a higher drop chance. But, we'll leave it to you to decide which method you'd instead prefer.
