Riders Republic: PC system requirements, gameplay, features and more

Riders Republic is set for a global release this week as Ubisoft wraps up the last free trial week for the game. With its massive playground for Riders to explore and where no rules apply, players can join their friends in a variety of multiplayer activities from races to trick battles.

As players get to experience Riders Republic ahead of its launch, it’s also worth noting that any game progress will be carried over into the full game release. So, here’s what we know about the upcoming extreme sports game from its exact release date and time to the PC system requirements, gameplay and features.

Riders Republic release date and time

Riders Republic has a release date of 28th October 2021 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Stadia and PC, via UPLAY+ and the Epic Games Store. According to the Mircosoft Store, the game is scheduled to release at 1 am BST for Xbox consoles, but as standard with all Ubisoft games, it will release at midnight local time. Riders Republic gameplay

Riders Republic is a massively multiplayer extreme sports game that features an impressive open-world map to build your reputation and start your career.

From extreme bike riding, skiing, snowboarding and wingsuit flying, there is plenty of opportunities for players to perform the next insane trick or set a new route time. The open-world map of Riders Republic features seven iconic American National Parks:

• Bryce Canyon
• Canyonlands
• Grand Teton
• Mammoth Mountain
• Sequoia Park
• Yosemite Valley
• Zion

Riders will be guided in their journey by an in-game mentor, Brett Nale. Your mentor will guide you in progressing your career including offering professional advice and helping you land exclusive sponsorships from leading international brands.

According to Ubisoft, the development of Riders Republic is from the same team, Ubisoft Annecy, behind the successful extreme sports game, Steep. Additionally, Riders Republic is a joint effort between Ubisoft Annecy and several of its internal studios: Ubisoft Montepellier, Belgrade, Pune, Berlin, Kyiv and Odesa.

Riders Republic features

Riders Republic is full of “massive multiplayer activities” bringing together a unique social experience with your friends or strangers online. This means you can play with a group of friends across the game’s featured multiplayer activities, Riders Republic could be the multiplayer game to enjoy at launch.

• Competitions: compete in exhilarating competitive PvP races and trick or stunt challenges
• Mass Races: no-holds-barred track races featuring over 50 Riders on one race track
• Multiplayers: squad up with your friends or strangers in 6v6 trick battles

For Riders playing Riders Republic on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, at least 50 players will be displayed online while 20 players will be displayed for those playing on PS4 and Xbox One consoles.

Riders Republic PC system requirements

While the game is visually stunning and exhilarating, Riders won't need a high-performing PC to meet Riders Republic's PC system requirements.

Given the success of the open beta, play days and the current free trial week, It will be interesting to see how Riders Republic is received on launch. Based on everything we've learned so far, the game does look like one exhilarating and social experience.
