Courage joins 100 Thieves and tops YouTube Trending

Former Call of Duty commentator and current Fortnite streamer/caster Jack "Courage" Dunlop has officially joined 100 Thieves as a content creator, with the announcement video also becoming the #1 trending video on YouTube.

The move has been rumoured for a long time, with a couple of leaks from good friend Tyler "Ninja" Blevins and 100 Thieves CEO Nadeshot not doing much to help the rumour die down.

Courage left OpTic Gaming at the tail end of 2018, citing his extreme personal growth and incoming individual brand opportunities as his reason for leaving.

It has been made clear since the fact that OpTic don't allow individual sponsorships whilst 100 Thieves do, and this may be the deciding factor in Courage opting to go with another organisation rather than remaining independent like other popular streamers such as Ninja.

It's interesting to have seen the announcement video perform so well after release, becoming the number 1 trending video on YouTube for a short while. This is a spot most commonly reserved for YouTube's biggest creators, film trailers or music artists' new releases and is a testament to the incredible brands both Courage and 100 Thieves have built for themselves.

Fortnite has taken over the gaming world and continues to find itself at the top, and Courage is arguably one of the biggest Fortnite streamers on Twitch. Both parties have clearly got themselves a good deal here.
