Hello Games

In No Man's Sky, a multi-tool is a device that can be used for mining, scanning, combat, and other functions. The Atlantid multi-tool is a special type of multi-tool that has a runic design and can be infused with nanites to enhance its abilities. The Atlantid multi-tool can only be obtained by following a specific process that involves finding and interacting with alien monoliths.

Here's how you can get the Atlantid multi-tool and how to find different variations of it. But before moving forward, it's worth noting that you will need to have started the Who Returned mission quest, which is part of the Echoes update, but you don’t have to complete it. You will also need to have some navigation data and ancient artifact site maps, which can be obtained from the space station or other sources.

Find an Alien Monolith

The first thing you should do is locate a monolith on a planet within a Korvax system. You can identify a Korvax system by the symbol displayed next to its name on the galaxy map.

To find a monolith, you will need to make use of an ancient artifact site map on the planet. This map will indicate a location on your HUD where you can fly to. However, it’s important to note that not every ancient artifact site map will lead you directly to a monolith. Some may guide you towards other types of ruins or structures instead. If your destination does not turn out to be a monolith, reload your previously saved restore point and try again.

When you exit your spacecraft or utilize a save beacon, a restore point save is automatically created. To reload this save point, navigate to the options menu and select “Reload Restore Point.” This action will transport you back in time to your game save.

You might need to repeat this process several times until you successfully reach a monolith as your destination. Once achieved, proceed towards the location and safely land nearby.

Interact with the Discordant Interface

The next step involves interacting with the discordant interface hidden near the monolith. To interact with this interface, you’ll need to infuse it with atlantium. Once you have some atlantium in your possession, utilize it to energize the interface. This action will activate it and expose an option to access your multi-tool.

Claim Your Atlantid Multi-Tool

The final step is to retrieve your Atlantid multi-tool from the interface. Simply interact with it again and choose the option “Claim Multi-Tool.” This action will bring up a screen displaying all the details and statistics of your acquired Atlantid multi-tool.

The appearance and rarity of the Atlantid multi-tool will vary randomly, ranging from C-class to S-class. Remember, the higher the class, the more impressive its stats and bonuses become. Take a moment to compare it with your multi-tool and decide if you want to keep it or not.

If you wish to keep it, you have two options: exchange it for your multi-tool or add it to your collection if there are enough available slots. You can have up to three multi-tools in your inventory at any given time. However, if this particular one isn’t what you’re looking for, simply decline it and continue searching for another one.

Feel free to repeat this process as many times as needed on either the same planet or different planets until you find an Atlantid multi-tool that perfectly aligns with your preferences.
