Palia’s 0.175 patch update was the second half of the Winter Update, adding new content, features, plenty of game adjustments, and rewards. Speaking of the latter, one of the new rewards players can obtain is a new Furnishing item, the Young Silverwing Nest, which can be placed on their Housing Plot once acquired.

Acquiring this majestic Furnishing item is relatively straightforward; however, if players have yet to complete the Temple of the Gales questline, it must be completed to unlock the new vault bundles. How To Get The Young Silverwing Nest Item In Palia

This Furnishing item is related to the Temple of the Gales story, which players must solve to unlock the four new vault bundles: the Cloudcurrent, Fairywind, Pie in the Sky, and Stormseeker bundles. Each bundle has unique items to collect using various Skills, including Bug-Catching, Cooking, and Fishing Skills, before contributing them at the Night Sky Temple.

To acquire the Young Silverwing Nest, players must complete all four vault bundles and collect their respective bundle rewards before receiving this item, which is added to their Inventory. Players should then return to their Housing Plot and decorate their home or plot by placing this item on the ground, and they’ll be able to interact with the item for a surprise.

All Young Silverwing Nest Rewards

According to the developer, as detailed in the patch notes, “a young, yet majestic Silverwing” will appear at this nest akin to the kitsuu for the Ancient Rock Garden Furnishing item. Additionally, when interacting with the nest, players will receive a Silverwing Egg, as there are three different types of eggs to earn which grants a Focus buff.

These eggs will give players “varying levels of Focus,” which Silverwing Egg A gives them 100 Focus, and Silverwing Egg B will award them 200 Focus. Lastly, Silverwing Egg C gives the most at 300 Focus, which should help players earn more XP when completing quests, tasks, or leveling up Skills to name.

Nevertheless, players can interact with the Young Silverwing Nest once daily to acquire a Silverwing Egg and gain the Focus from one of these three eggs. However, as the developer noted, interacting with the nest can only occur once in real-time before it resets daily at 8 pm PT / 11 pm ET / 4 am UTC, and players can receive another Silverwing Egg after that.

Palia is currently available via the Epic Games Store and in Open Beta for PC, as players can install the game launcher detailed in this guide. The game is now available to download for Nintendo Switch as of 14th December 2023.
