How To Complete Bottom Of The Barrel DMZ Mission

Warzone 2 is filled to the brim with plenty of difficult DMZ missions, so players often require some assistance to complete them and snag the rewards. One such mission is Bottom of the Barrel which involves sneaking into a facility, interacting with an enigmatic Shopkeeper, and retrieving valuable research documents.

Find a bottle of liquor

To kick off the Bottom of the Barrel DMZ mission, your first objective is to locate a bottle of liquor in Al Mazrah. This rare item can be found in spots across the map, such as refrigerators, restaurants, or houses.

Next, you’ll need to infiltrate the guarded Koschei Complex and make your way to the Chemical Plant area. This Russian facility holds secrets and dangers. To gain access, you must acquire a car battery and jumper cables, which can be sourced from cars, garages, or warehouses scattered around.

Once you’ve obtained the required items mentioned earlier, head towards the northwest corner of the map, where you’ll come across a metal gate labeled “Koschei Complex”. Park your vehicle near this gate. Utilize the jumper cables to connect your car battery with the power box attached to it.

Trade with the Shopkeeper to obtain the secret code

The next part of your mission involves engaging in a trade with an individual known as the Shopkeeper. This enigmatic character can be found residing in a concealed room within the Factory section of the Koschei Complex. The Shopkeeper is open to exchanging information for items, such as bottles of liquor.

To locate the Shopkeeper, you’ll first need to obtain the Factory Admin Key located within the vents of the Chemical Plant area. This key will grant you access to the Factory section where he is situated. Once you have obtained the key, return to the Chemical Plant. Search for a door labeled “Factory”. Utilize your key to unlock it and enter. Inside, you will encounter an array of machinery, pipes, and conveyor belts.

Upon completing your trade with the Shopkeeper, you will acquire a code. This code can then be used to gain entry into a secured room housing documents.

Extract the Research documents

The final step of your mission involves retrieving classified Russian Gas Research Documents from within this room using its keypad and safely extracting them from the Koschei Complex. These documents contain information pertaining to Russia’s secret gas weapon project and can potentially be sold at a substantial price.

To locate this locked room keypad, return again to the Chemical Plant. Make your way towards the southern end of Koschei Complex. The entrance to the Alpha Cluster can be found in that location. To open this door, you will require a car battery and a set of jumper cables.

Once you unlock the Alpha Cluster door, you’ll find the room on your left. Use the code provided by the Shopkeeper to gain access and inside you’ll discover the Russian Gas Research Documents. Take them with you as you exit the room.

With this task accomplished, your main objective is now to retrieve the documents from Koschei Complex and sell them to the bidder.
