The Call of Duty series is going through a massive transformation. Soon, we will have Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 in our hands, and a brand new map for Call of Duty Warzone. It was recently announced that Urzikstan will be the latest map added to Warzone in the upcoming Season 1 update.

Warzone will be going back to Season 1 after the launch of Modern Warfare 3 and there's a lot to be excited about. A new map means there are going to be new gameplay strategies for players to figure out. But one thing players are curious about is that they are wondering if Urzikstan will be bigger than Al Mazrah in Warzone.

Will Urzikstan Be Bigger Than Al Mazrah In Warzone?

In a recent blog post, we got information that there will be 11 different points of interest for Urzikstan. By comparison, Al Mazrah has 18 POIs. Although there are more POIs in Al Mazrah, does that necessarily mean that Urzikstan will be a smaller map to explore?

The answer this time is yes. In a recent CoD Next stream, it was explicitly stated that Urzikstan will be smaller than Al Mazrah, but not by a lot. Urzikstan will be the second biggest map in Warzone while Al Mazrah will continue to be the biggest map the game has to offer.

Urzikstan Will Be More Dense Than Al Mazrah

Although Urzikstan will be smaller than Al Mazrah in Warzone, that doesn't mean it will be devoid of content. The fact is that Urzikstan might actually feel bigger. The Warzone developers explained that even though the map is smaller, Urzikstan will be denser than Al Mazrah.

That means that there will be fewer open spaces and more buildings to maneuver around. This will give the impression that Urzikstan will feel bigger than Al Mazrah. Urzikstan is expected to be the second-biggest map ever made for Warzone. So, despite being smaller than Al Mazrah, it will still feel very large for players.
