MW2 & Warzone Season 5 Perks: All Buffs, Nerfs, Adjustments

Across both Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone, Call of Duty players are treated to a variety of new content with the roll out of each new season. This ranges from new Operators, Weapon Blueprints, events, and more. As part of Season 5, players can even enjoy the 50 Years of Hip Hop celebration, which brings back Snoop Dogg as an Operator, this time with a new alt skin.

Despite all the new content, both Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 still make use of perks. In Season 5, some perks received balance changes and here, we are going to go over all the perk changes for Season 5 of Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2.

In each and every season of Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2, a lot of adjustments are made to keep the game balanced. Live service games like Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 need to make regular balance changes to ensure that the game remains fair for everyone.

In the most recent patch notes, it looks like we got some adjustments for the various perks that are in Warzone 2. Perks are extremely important in both Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 due to how game-changing they can be. From what we can see, it looks like there were some big adjustments made to certain perks.

First, we will talk about the Bomb Squad perk. Bomb Squad gives you some resistance to explosive devices which increases your survivability. But if you are stuck with Semtex, you'll usually get killed anyways. Now, if you are stuck with an explosive and you are fully armored in Warzone, you will survive. This is an adjustment for Warzone only.

Quick Fix allows players to ignore health regeneration delay when they score a kill. Now, there will be a visual indicator if someone has the Quick Fix perk active. This means enemies will be aware that you are healing, so unlike Bomb Squad, this is a bit of a nerf. Either way, it seems like the actual effects of Quick Fix are still normal.
