When Does Al Mazrah Leave Warzone?

Al Mazrah will be leaving Warzone in the near future. Here's what you need to know.
When Does Al Mazrah Leave Warzone?

Warzone is set to undergo a number of changes after Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 launches on November 10, 2023. But this shouldn't come as a shock to regular CoD players. Each time a new mainline entry Call of Duty launches, it receives an integration with Warzone. One of the most important changes is the roll out of a brand new Battle Royale map.

Activision have already announced that a brand new map is on the way, called Urzikstan. This map will be set in an important region for the Modern Warfare 3 narrative, so it makes sense for it to be a major locale in Warzone. Urzikstan is set in Western Asia on the eastern border of the Black Sea, and features 11 new POIs for players to explore. It's also set to replace Al Mazrah as the main battle royale map. With that in mind, here's when Al Mazrah will leave Warzone and Urzikstan will take over.

Despite Modern Warfare 3 launching on November 10, Al Mazrah will be sticking around in Warzone for a little bit longer. In fact, it'll be available up until the launch of MW3 & Warzone Season 1, currently scheduled to release on December 5, 2023.

As part of Season 1, Urzikstan will take over as the main battle royale map and Warzone will be fully integrated with Modern Warfare 3. Urzikstan won't be the only map available to play. Both Fortune's Keep and Rebirth Island are scheduled to arrive in early 2024, joining both Ashika Island and Vondel in the map rotations.

Can I Still Play Al Mazrah After It Leaves Warzone?

It's unclear if Al Mazrah will remain playable in any form of Call of Duty, however it will no longer be available to play in Warzone after the launch of MW3 & Warzone Season 1. It's possible that the map could make its way to Call of Duty Wazone Mobile sometime in the future but, again, this has not been confirmed.

Warzone Mobile, which is scheduled to receive its worldwide release soon, will feature Shoot House, Verdansk, Rebirth Island, and Shipment as playable maps. It's unclear at this time whether any more maps will be added in the future.
