Palia’s v0.173 patch update introduces a new type of premium cosmetics called Glider Skins, which players can buy using Palia Coins. These new cosmetics can be equipped to the handcrafted glider courtesy of Najuma from an early game quest to add more flair when soaring the skies of Kilima Village and Bahari Bay.
Acquiring the Glider Skins is achieved in a similar fashion to Premium Outfits, but players will need to have enough Palia Coins to own one or the entire bundle. Soar to new heights as we’ve discussed how players can get and equip Glider Skins in Palia.

The v0.176 patch update added a new Glider skin and three new outfit sets, the latter detailed in a separate guide here. Let's look at the Glider Skins, which are as follows:
- The Dragon Dancer Glider Skin:
- 1,275 Palia Coins
- Once the glider is equipped, a unique trail animation and sound effect will appear when gliding
How To Get The Premium Glider Skins In Palia?
The Premium Store has been a hub where players can acquire new cosmetics, like outfits and masks, purchased using a currency type called Palia Coins. These coins can be obtained using real-world currency bought in bundles from the Currency Store within the Premium Store page.
Since the game’s Open Beta release, the developer has added at least three new Premium Outfits, but now a new type of cosmetic is available from the Premium Store. The v0.173 patch update added Glider Skins, which they can buy from the store to add more style to their current in-game appearance.
To find the Premium Store, they must locate Jel’s Tailor Store east of the town center before the Kilima Village bridge. Once inside, look inside for the cash register and interact with it to access the Premium Store to find the latest cosmetics added, including the Glider Skins.
Another way is using keybinds, for which players can hit the P key to be taken to their Character Profile menu and look for the golden Card icon at the top right of the screen. Lastly, they can access the Premium Store through their Wardrobe by interacting with it and clicking on the abovementioned icon at the top right of the screen.
The first batch of Glider Skins is part of the Beyond the Veil Glider set, in which players have the option to buy the bundle or individual gliders from the set. This applies to all future Glider Skins that will be included in Palia in subsequent patch updates, which will be detailed in the patch notes once available.
Equipping the Glider Skin can be achieved within the Premium Store upon purchase of the particular skin or bundle. Another way is to visit the Wardrobe and scroll through the tab options to find the “Glider” tab, where all available Glider Skins can be found here.
Finally, if players have yet to acquire a Glider, they must complete the Like A Bird quest by finding Najuma, who’ll craft them a Glider using resources gathered for her. Likewise, they can acquire a Glider Skin for free by forwarding friends the Refer-A-Friend referral link to join Palia, where they can receive a Finding Friends Chapaa Glider Skin for free.
Palia is currently available via the Epic Games Store and in Open Beta for PC, as players can install the game launcher detailed in this guide. The game is now available to download for Nintendo Switch as of 14th December 2023.
