Palia Quest Guide: How To Complete Like A Bird Quest

As previously detailed in the guide to the Fast Travel system, there are other ways to get around Killima Village and neighboring Bahari Bay without walking or sprinting to reach your destination. While players will need some Gold at the Stable boards to fast travel, there’s another way of getting around the village: a glider.

While many have already received a glider as a reward from the Refer-A-Friend program, you can officially get one by completing a quest for Najuma. We’ve pulled out the blueprint to help you craft a glider to complete the Like A Bird quest for Palia.

Palia Like A Bird Quest Objective List

Soar across the skies like a bird in this next story quest as players will meet Najuma for the first time in Bahari Bay. Similarly, this will be the first time players will receive a glider in-game, excluding the Refer-A-Friend program, which awards you a unique Chapaa-inspired glider.

How To Complete The Like A Bird Quest In Palia?

After completing the Ancient Battery quest with Jina, she'll advise you to contact Najuma in Bahari Bay to help you get set up with a glider to continue your explorations of the mysterious chamber in Phoenix Falls. The entrance to Bahari Bay is on the eastern side of the map near Whispering Banks, where they can be found strolling nearby their home.

After speaking with Najuma and asking them to help you build a glider, they'll send you out to gather a few necessary resources to make the glider. The resources and their quantities in question have been detailed for you below:

• Sapwood Plank x3
• Fabric x2
• Leather x5

If you have reached level 2 in Foraging and visited Ashura, you will have a Basic Sawmill on hand to process Sapwood logs into planks. To acquire the Fabric and Leather, you will need to reach Level 2 in Furniture Making and then speak to Tish to purchase the recipe for Fabric Loom, and you'll get recipes for Fabric and Leather.

This will process various resources into craftable items like Fabric and Leather, which the latter can be obtained by placing either Chapaa Fur or Senuk Hide to receive some Leather. Fabric, on the other hand, is slightly more tedious to get as it can be done one of two ways: the first is to buy cotton seeds to be planted to get Cotton, but this takes five days to grow fully.

If you can't wait that long to get Fabric and complete this quest, visit Zeki at his General Store to buy Fabric for 190 Gold each. With the resources on hand, head back to Bahari Bay and find Najuma to turn in the resources; they'll award you a glider and complete this quest.

To equip the glider in your Inventory, go to the character profile menu and find the glider in your Inventory slot. Left-click on the glider and drag it to the Accessory slot available, and you have equipped the glider to your character.

If you wish to change gliders, this can be done by interacting with the wardrobe, where you'll find the Accessory tab, and you can change gliders. As it stands, there are two gliders available in-game, which are the one received from this quest and the other as a reward for the Refer-A-Friend program.
