Taking to her live stream, the 29-year-old Anne Munition announced to her 500,000 Twitch followers and 88,000 YouTube subscribers that she has officially been welcomed into the Red Bull Gaming family. Though financial details of the newly formed partnership were not disclosed at the time of the announcement, Anne Munition was clearly excited to announce the new partnership and called it a “dream come true” for the streamer.
The news is clearly exciting for the Los Angeles-based streamer who recently quit her full-time graphic design job to become a full-time gamer/streamer. Anne Munition has become quite popular in the Twitch community since dedicating herself to streaming full-time.
With her trademark tattoos and over 200,000 Twitch fanbase, Anne Munition has rapidly become a streaming celebrity by playing games like Overwatch and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
Anne Munition also made her way into Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls organization with her support of the LGBTQIA+ support and secured a Corsair sponsorship and an Intel-affiliate Twitch commercial in her time on the platform.
The news comes in the same week that Red Bull also announced a new partnership with The NUEL in an effort to bolster collegiate esports across the United Kingdom for the 2019-2020 academic school year.
Red Bull also announced the signing of FGC champion Arslan Ash this week, the first-ever player representing Pakistan. Last month, Red Bull was also in the news for the announcement of a partnership with Riot Games and its global League of Legends events, as well as deals with G2 Esports and gaming personality Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, presumably for commercial advertising purposes.
Red Bull is clearly making a push to become a household name within the esports gaming community and announcements like these are great to see, not only for the brand, but for gamers like Anne Munition alike.
