Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) is returning to Twitch for the third time in the last few months.
The US representative will be streaming live tonight, on 28th January, to talk about the recent developments in regards to GameStop short squeeze and the fact that today Robinhood, a commission-free trading app, halted trading of GameStop and some other securities, which is seen as a move to support the Wall Street hedge funds against the small traders from r/wallstreetbets.
I’ll be hopping on Twitch at 8:30pm tonight to discuss today’s developments with GameStop and retail trading. 👾 Might have a guest or two join - we’ll see.

See you there!
AOC announced that she "might have a guest or two" joining her, but she didn't reveal who that might be.
"We now need to know more about Robinhood’s decision to block retail investors from purchasing stock while hedge funds are freely able to trade the stock as they see fit," AOC tweeted earlier today. "As a member of the Financial Services Cmte, I’d support a hearing if necessary."
While her last two streams involved Among Us sessions with various streamers and politicians, it is unsure if this time around it will be a similar format, or there will be no gameplay, but just chat about the ongoing situation with the stock market.
AOC's last stream was on 28th November, when she raised over $200k for various humanitarian organisations, and her first stream in October is one of the most-watched streams in Twitch's history with over 439,000 peak concurrent viewers.
How to watch AOC stream about Robinhood and Gamestop?
