Why was Greekgodx banned from Twitch? Some of the theories are wild...

Twitch streamer Dimitri ‘Greekgodx’ Antonatos, known amongst his fans simply as "Greek", has received his second ban from the platform on Monday, 30th November.

One of the more popular content creators on the platform, with more than 1.3 million followers who enjoy watching him play first-person shooters, react to videos and relax with his IRL streaming sessions, the reason for his ban is currently unknown.

As a standard practice, Twitch does not publicly disclose reasons behind suspension, so what has caused Greek's ban is currently a subject of speculation - and perhaps owing to how eclectic a streamer he is the potential reasons are wild and varied.

Some fans are speculating copyright infringement as the most likely reason behind this suspension because a lot of his content revolves around reacting to other creator's videos. Maybe someone didn't like his reaction to a particular video and has decided to file a claim on his VOD.

Another potential reason was his penchant for watching professional boxing fights on stream, which are usually pay-to-watch, so that too might be a reason for his suspension.

There's also a theory that fans of Twitch streamer "Sykkuno" did a mass reporting of his Twitch channel because he was "toxic" towards him while they were playing Among Us.

Some fans are also reporting that he recently watched a YouTube video on stream that "showed a man's bare ass" and another one with a house cat getting killed by a cougar, both would earn you a suspension on Twitch.

Of course, this is all just speculation and the real reason can only really be revealed by Greek himself if he decides to do so.

As mentioned before this isn't Greek's first ban which was for "hateful gender comments," back in September 2019.
